Rafa Fontana is currently one of the most influential photographers in Brazil. With over a decade of experience, he started photographing in 2008 when he lived in the United States, it was there when he had his first contact with wedding photography and in 2009 starting shooting those events. In 2012 he decided to return to Brazil and work exclusively in that area and in 2015, when he reached one of his highest achievements of his career, he started his solo project. Always searching for his essence and identity, currently, he’s recognized for having a strong identity and characteristics, but also for sharing his experiences, ideas and knowledge with friends and photographers around him Weddings have always been his passion, for being a documentary type of work. Has a free and fun style, where his focus is always the moment and not the composition. Has had the chance to photograph in 12 countries. He went beyond and diversitising his photography, today photographing maternity, sessions and corporate. Rafa’s success in between photographers all over Brazil made his current project, FREE SOUL course, one of the most asked for curses in the area and helped and educated many photographers in the last couple of years.
